Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce Seeks Sponsors for 2026 Teacher Classroom Grants
The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce is inviting local businesses, chamber members, and community supporters to invest in local educators by sponsoring 2026 Teacher Classroom Grants.
The Chamber’s Teacher Grant Program will provide $50 classroom grants to teachers in the Trenton R-9 School District and Trenton Head Start. The grants will be presented during the Trenton R-9 district’s 2026 Convocation on August 19, as educators prepare for the upcoming school year.
Teachers play an important role in helping students learn, grow, and overcome challenges both inside and outside the classroom. Many educators also spend their own money on classroom supplies and materials to make sure their students have the resources they need.
While each grant is $50, the Chamber believes these small investments can make a big difference. Businesses and individuals are invited to sponsor one or more $50 classroom grants. Multiple sponsorships are welcome and will allow more teachers to benefit from this annual grant.
More importantly, the program is a way for the community to show its appreciation for the educators who dedicate their time and talents to local students. Every contribution helps provide teachers with additional resources and reminds educators that their community values the work they do every day.

Those interested in sponsoring a classroom grant are asked to submit their commitments by Friday, August 14.
