The Trenton Community Independence Day Celebration is shaping up to be a day full of patriotism, family fun, great food, and community spirit at Eastside Park! Gather your family and friends and spend the day celebrating our nation's birthday on July 4th, 2026.

- Eastside Park
- VFW serving Ice Cream
- Beginning at 10:00 AM
- West Shelter House
- Free American Flags and Pinwheels courtesy of the Daughters of the American Revolution
- Patriotic Pins courtesy of Grundy County Jewett Norris Library
- West Shelter House
- Elks Lodge #801 Community BBQ
- 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM (or until food runs out)
- $10 per meal benefiting the Grundy County 65 Center
- Eastside Shelter House/Parking Lot area
- Trenton Family Aquatic Center $1 per person for swimming.
- Sponsored by the City of Trenton and the Park Department.
- 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
- Food Trucks sponsored by Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce
- 11 food trucks and food vendors expected
- 4:00 PM till after the fireworks

The annual celebration is made possible through the support of dedicated organizations, businesses, and community members who help make Independence Day in Trenton a memorable tradition. Special thank you to BTC Bank for providing the mobile ATM on site, canopies, and tables located in the parking lot of Eastside Park. The Daughters of the American Revolution for displaying the courthouse flags, and everyone whose generous contributions make this celebration possible.
