The Grand River Valley Choir and Orchestra will present its annual Summer Concert
The Grand River Valley Choir and Orchestra will present its annual Summer Concert, A Night at the Movies, at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 21, in the Trenton R-IX Performing Arts Center. The doors will open at 6:30 following the dress rehearsal.
A variety of music will be performed at the last concert of our 16th season.
Our 62 GRVCO musicians represent the 13 Missouri communities of Cameron, Chillicothe, Gallatin, Jamesport, Ludlow, Milan, Newtown, Pattonsburg, Princeton, Richmond, St Joseph, Trenton, and Weatherby.
Saturday, the GRV Orchestra will open the program with Rocky Broadway, James Bond Theme, The Beauty and the Beast, Mission Impossible, and An American Symphony.
The GRV Choir will then perform Seize the Day, Down in the River to Pray, Found/Tonight, and Joyful Joyful.
The GRiV-CO Choir and Orchestra will combine for Pure Imagination and Strike Up the Band.
Tyler Busick is the conductor of the GRV Choir. Chris Thomas is the GRV Orchestral conductor. Sonja Wimer accompanies the choir.
GRVCO is a 501(c)(3) organization. We have no sponsors, but rely on donations. All performances are free due to our Donor’s Club and the anonymous donors who contribute at our concerts. Your financial support helps provide the funds necessary to continue our organization’s mission. Information on our Donor’s Club will be available at the door.
