Are you buying or selling a vehicle? Here’s a little tidbit of information you may not know. If you are buying or selling a vehicle for an amount that is significantly less than market value, you will need a notarized bill of sale. The Department of Revenue has implemented this requirement to reduce the amount of sales tax fraud. When you visit a license office to title your new purchase (valued less than fair market value), please bring the notarized bill of sale with you or you will be sent to get one.

The deadline for entering your garage sale in the community wide sale is looming. Registrations need to be turned into the Chamber by April 17th at 4:00pm to be advertised.
If you need a form, you can download one by clicking the ‘Annual Events’ tab above and selecting ‘Community Pride’ => ‘Garage Sale Form’. You can also stop by our office at 617 Main St. here in Trenton and fill one out. Either way, we do ask that you register in person so we can issue you a yard sign.
Thanks for participating and good luck selling!
