The Chamber hosts a “Jailbreak” Poker Run each year in late summer. Many folks come out to enjoy a motorcycle ride through northern Missouri while collecting a poker hand at designated stops along the route. At the end of the route, there is usually a catered meal and door prizes. If your poker hand wins, you get $500 CASH. Worst hand gets $50.
This year’s poker run, scheduled for September 10th, will be taking a 142-mile scenic route in northern Missouri. Stops will take riders to Milan, Novinger, Hartford, Princeton and back to Trenton. Fees to join in this fun ride are $25 per single rider and $40 per couple (on same motorcycle). Fee includes poker hand and fish fry meal with Rotary Club. Registration begins at 12:00pm at the old Grundy County Jail on 8th Street across from the Courthouse (700 Main Street). Kickstands up at 1:00pm. Riders returning after the run will end at Trenton Elks Lodge where poker hands will be played and door prizes will be awarded.
