According to our By-Laws, we are required to have an annual meeting each year within the first quarter of the year. This meeting includes a dinner and entertainment of some kind.
You’ll definitely want to be sure to reserve your seat for our 2016 banquet which will be held Friday, March 11th at the old JC Penney building in the Eastgate Shopping Center. Our theme this year is Mardi Gras. Large and Small Business of the Year will be recognized as well as Pillars of the Community. A large business should have more than 15 employees; small businesses have 15 employees or less. To nominate a business for this award, please download the form here. You can return the form to us via fax, email, mail or in person at our office. Nominations are due by February 15th. We will again have a live auction with several great items to bid on. Entertainment for the evening will be Saxophonist Jamie Baker. Dinner will be catered by Hy-Vee Deli. They will be serving bacon wrapped sirloin, shrimp scampi skewers, twice baked potato, red beans & rice, garden salad, hot rolls, New York style cheesecake.
