Welcome to Trenton Community Pride Clean Up Week...

The Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors a Community Pride Clean Up Week the first week of May each year. Co-chairs Debbie Carman and Sharon Barnett seek civic groups, organizations, businesses, and individuals to help in the effort. The Community Pride Week will not include painting and repair of houses. Efforts will focus on sweeping sidewalks, picking up trash and debris, and getting each citizen to take pride in their property by making it shine. We will use an Adopt your block or area approach.

We need help from all citizens. Even if you are unable to lift or do physical labor, perhaps you could drive a pickup to haul trash bags to a central collection point.

If you are a service club looking for that perfect project, this is it. If you need to earn a patch, volunteer hours, or community service hours, this is the time. Don’t delay, call the Chamber today. We hope to have over 100 people working in this effort. If you are unable to help but want to make a monetary donation to pay for, trash bags or supplies, you may send it to 617 Main, earmarked Clean up.
