Community Pride is a week set aside each Spring to clean up our community. The event is held the last week of April each year and we encourage community members to pitch in to help clean up all areas of Trenton by picking up trash and disposing of all trash in the proper manner. A station is set up each year to handle recyclables as well as hazardous materials like rubber, tires, paint, oil, etc. This isn’t a time where volunteers work on home improvements or the like.
Homeowners can really help by cleaning up the areas around their homes. The Chamber Ambassadors and Board Members work together to clean up 9th Street from Citizens Bank to Lakeview Motor Lodge. Community Pride week is also a great opportunity for organizations like boy and girl scouts to earn badges.
Thank you for all your help in cleaning up our community!
